IMR Enduron 7977 Smokeless Gun Powder overview
The IBS National yard competition was won by IMR Enduron 7977 Powder in 2009. The powder does not change with the conditions and as result, Mr. Jim Carmichael who was the match winner that year spectacularly shot the exact same load both days which is not the case for natural bench shooters because conditions alter weights during the day ! So when he developed the load that shot the best shot from its gun/components, the short remained the same throughout the entire course of the competition. IMR Enduron 7977 Powder is advantageous as it has perfect temperature sensitivity, its p burn rate is perfect with a perfect loading density, its metering is perfect with also a perfect uniformity/accuracy, in fact the perfect powder does not exist.
The most recent in the versatile IMR line of fine propellants happens to be IMR Enduron 7977 Powder because of its exciting properties like accurate metering. The powder happens to be the perfect match for varmint, and AR sniper cartridges because its grains are super short and extruded. Cartridges like the 223 Remington/5.56mm, 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO and the 6mm PPC use the powder because its ideal nature suits these cartridges.
